A piece of my own creative work.
This was the first image I ever created on a computer that I really, really liked. It's simply a lot of black and white dots in two different layers, which were swirled around and polarised against each other, then coloured. I like this image because it's so easy to replicate it, but everytime you do, it has its' own uniqueness.
A piece of great architecture.
Just because it comes from a video game doesn't mean it's any less impressive as a piece of architecture. This is the Citadel from Half Life 2. A towering skyscraper that dominates the skyline of the entire game. I like the image of this building because of the unique atmosphere its' presence is able to create. It towers over you, constantly keeping watch, and as you progress nearer to it, the mechanical creaks of ever shifting pieces both draw you in and ward you away.
A photo of something beautiful.
I took this photo on a year 12 photography trip. It's located somewhere in the Chinese Gardens in Darling Harbour. I found the whole place to be amazingly relaxing and beautiful. I stood in place for a good 20 minutes waiting for a parade of small primary school kids to move out of the shot before I finally took one I liked.
